When turned in the light, the stone's?iridescent flashes reveal a natural 6-rayed star at the center, appearing?as though lit from within. The stone displays a luscious natural color and is bezel set, weighing approximately .95ct. Surrounding the star sapphire is a border?of?sparkling Mine?Cut diamonds, which form a spectacular halo! The diamonds are prong set, weighing approximately .60ctw combined. Completing the design is a gold band with a pillar style split shank at the shoulders. Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.75, but could easily be resized up or down if desired. The circular ring face has a 1/2" diameter, and the star sapphire measures approximately 8mm in size.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The pink star sapphire and diamonds are all intact and securely set. There is a natural patina on the surface of the gold setting, which is normal for a Victorian era piece and adds depth to the design.
