An exquisite diamond ring from the Georgian (ca1830) era! This gorgeous 18kt gold ring features a stunning?cushion Mine Cut diamond at the center, which weighs approximately 0.60ct with estimated K color and SI2 clarity. The diamond?is prong set high above the finger in a unique style with the prongs being slightly curved, almost resembling the rays of a sunburst. This unusual design looks absolutely stunning when worn and the diamond itself sparkles beautifully, catching the light with every turn! Completing the design are black tracery enamel accents that decorate the sides of the setting in an elongated pattern. Measurements:?The ring has a finger size 9.5,?but could easily be re-sized. The diamond?rests a little more than 1/4" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and only minimal surface wear to the black tracery enamel. The diamond is intact and securely set.
